Train-or-Treat at the Southeastern Railway Museum

Every year, the Southeastern Railway Museum hosts a spooktacular Halloween extravaganza aptly named Train-or-Treat. The family-friendly event provides a safe and unique trick or treating experience for youngsters as well as a good time for those who are young at heart.

With colorful autumn scenery starting to show and the expectation of frightfully fun experiences around every corner, October is one of the most exciting times of the year for children. Train-or-Treat makes it an extra special time, offering numerous activities for all your young goblins, ghouls, witches and princesses to take part in.

The All Hallows’ Eve-themed event includes a costume contest for children up to 12 years old, fall-inspired crafting activities, wagon rides, trick or treating throughout the museum and more. You and your little ones are sure to work up an appetite too, so Bill’s Grills on Wheels will be at the museum during lunchtime. There will also be fall-themed refreshments to tickle your palate.

The Train-or-Treat event is included with museum admission and takes place on Oct. 29, 2016, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. To learn more, visit the museum’s event page here.

While you’re at the museum, don’t miss out on checking out all the location has to offer, including exclusive memorabilia, a collection of locomotives and freight cars, train rides and more.
