Austin Cindric Joins Ford Multimatic Motorsports for Rolex 24 at Daytona

Ford Performance NASCAR Cup Series driver Austin Cindric will join the Ford Multimatic Motorsports team for the 2025 Rolex 24 at Daytona. He will step in for endurance driver Ben Barker, who broke his collarbone in a skiing accident over the holidays. Cindric will be racing alongside regular team members Mike Rockenfeller and Sebastian Priaulx in the Ford Multimatic Motorsports Mustang GT3.

This will be Cindric's sixth Rolex 24 appearance, and he is optimistic that the Mustang GT3 will help him secure a strong result.

Cindric, who hails from Mooresville, NC, is a race winner in the NASCAR Cup Series. His recent accomplishments include winning the 2022 Daytona 500 while driving a Team Penske Mustang. Prior to racing in NASCAR, Cindric competed in sports car racing events across the U.S., showcasing his driving skills in Ford development vehicles like the Mustang GT4. He has also competed four times in the Michelin Pilot Challenge at Daytona with Multimatic Motorsports, including a 2019 win alongside Priaulx at Road Atlanta.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of Cindric's first race with Multimatic and Ford at Daytona. The team is thrilled to welcome him back, and Cindric is eager to prepare for the race on January 26th.
