Intelligent all-wheel drive comes standard with this machine as well as an eight-speed automatic transmission. The ST's engine block is made from compacted graphite iron, but the SE's engine block is made from cast aluminum.

Engine performance isn't the only difference between the two contenders. The Ford Edge SE can be purchased with several wheel sizes and designs.
