What's New With the 2017 C-Max?

Shoppers looking at the 2017 Ford C-Max, or its Energi cousin, in the Atlanta, Georgia area will find that the green cars are getting a few new updates, including a new premium Titanium trim and a restyled front fascia on the Hybrid, and the addition of two new trims on the Energi. For more information about these eco-friendly cars, keep browsing our 2017 Ford C-Max review below!

Exciting New Features

There are two available trim levels on both models of the Ford C-Max: SE and Titanium.

The base C-Max SE trim starts things off with amenities such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel, smartphone app integration, keyless entry, a six-speaker sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, 17-inch alloy wheels, a USB interface, cloth upholstery, Bluetooth connectivity and a rearview camera.

The new luxury-focused Titanium trim adds plenty of premium features to the C-Max, including leather seating, a premium 9-speaker Sony sound system, push-button start, heated outside mirrors and ambient interior lighting.

On top of these exceptional features and amenities, many 2017 Ford C-Max reviews have suggested adding one of the many new package options to the car, which include equipment like voice-controlled navigation, a panoramic glass roof, more cargo management features and Ford's latest edition of its Sync 3 infotainment system.

Fuel-Efficient Powertrains

No doubt that one of the biggest draws of the 2017 Ford C-Max for Buford drivers is its terrific list of powerful, yet economical, engines. Drivers who chose the C-Max Hybrid model will find that the displacement includes a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, a lithium-ion battery pack and an electric motor, which produce around 188 horsepower.

The popular C-Max Energi plug-in model has a similar powertrain, but with a much larger battery pack, which helps move the car up to 19 miles on electric power alone.

High-Tech Safety & Security

Adding to this terrific features list is a plethora of standard safety equipment, such as traction and stability control, a driver knee airbag, daytime running lights, front seat airbags, full-length side airbags and antilock brakes.

The 2017 C-Max also comes standard with two very impressive safety systems from the automaker: Ford MyKey, which allows parents to set preset limits for teen drivers, and 911 Assist, which calls emergency services if your car's airbags have been deployed.
