The Flex SE has one drivetrain, and that is the SE front wheel drive. The SEL has two drive options, the SEL front wheel drive and the SEL all-wheel drive. The Flex Limited has three options limited all-wheel drive, limited front wheel drive and the limited with eco boost all-wheel drive.

The Flex SEL has intelligent access with push-button start. When the access key is nearby to the driver's door, the push button system senses it. It then unlocks the driver's door and all the doors when touched. This is also applicable to the flex limited.

Flex SE, on the other hand, has a key program that allows two household members to share the car. It has body color door handle while SEL and Limited models have chrome door handles. All the models have shifter button application that allows an override of the automatic operation to manual.

Additionally, the Flex has solar tinted glass for all windows, auto dimming interior rear view mirror and rain-sensing windshield wipers.
