The new Transit is available in Cargo Van, Passenger Van XL, and Passenger Van XLT trims. Even the rugged Transit Cargo Van comes standard with popular features, including Bluetooth, USB ports, and reclining bucket seats. For an enhanced driving experience, Ford's SYNC 4 infotainment system, featuring a 12.0-inch LCD touchscreen with Connected Navigation, is available as an option.
The Transit Passenger Van XL includes many of the same features as the Transit Cargo Van, with additional rear air vents and rear USB ports. It also comes with cloth seating surfaces. For those seeking more amenities, the Passenger Van XLT offers power-folding mirrors, front fog lights, and Ford's intuitive SYNC 4 infotainment system as a standard feature. Reclining rear seats are also included for added comfort.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2024 Transit Have?
The new Transit comes standard with a capable 3.5-liter PDFI V6 engine, delivering a solid 275 horsepower. Ford's optional 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine offers a robust 310 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque for those desiring more power. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. While rear-wheel drive is standard, an Intelligent AWD system is also available.
What Safety Features Does the 2024 Transit Include?
The Ford Co-Pilot360 suite equips the Transit with several safety features designed to inspire confidence.
