What's New for the 2026 Ford Expedition?
After receiving a handful of updates last year, Ford brings the full-size Expedition back for 2026, largely unchanged from before.
What Are the 2026 Expedition Trims & Features?
The 2026 Expedition comes in four trims: Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch.
The Active is well-appointed with a 24-inch panoramic display instrument panel that prominently displays driving information. Comfort features include a ten-way power driver's seat with lumbar support and tri-zone automatic temperature control. Tech additions include a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, a 13.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 360-degree camera.
The Platinum trim steps up comfort with heated and ventilated multicontour front seats equipped with Active Motion massage and a 10-speaker B&O premium audio system. The Panoramic Vista Roof increases cabin openness.
For off-road enthusiasts, the Tremor adds rugged hardware such as modified Raptor skid plates and a suspension lift, plus Trail Control technology to assist on rougher paths.
The King Ranch sits at the top with 22-inch Sinister Bronze wheels and a continuously controlled damping suspension for refined handling. Interior features include Del Rio full leather seating and a 22-speaker B&O Unleashed sound system.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Expedition Have?
Under the hood is a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6. Standard output is 400 horsepower; the high-output version delivers 440 horsepower. A 10-speed automatic transmission is paired to the engine, and the Expedition can tow up to 9,600 pounds when properly equipped. RWD and 4WD are both available.
What Safety Features Does the 2026 Expedition Include?
Pre-collision braking is standard across the lineup. Hands-free BlueCruise is offered as an available feature to reduce driving fatigue.
