New Vehicle Limited Warranty

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty is included with every new model purchased. It provides coverage on all repair, replacement, and adjustment services needed due to issues and defects with factory parts and components which may occur during the first years of ownership.

Powertrain Warranty

This warranty offers coverage on all powertrain parts for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. The parts covered in the Powertrain Warranty include the transmission, engine, and axles.

Emissions Defect Warranty

This warranty covers defects on parts related to the emissions for cars that weigh up to 8,500 pounds. Passenger cars and light-duty trucks released by Ford are covered under the Emissions Defect Warranty.

Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Unique Component Coverage

All Ford hybrid and electric models come with Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Unique Component Coverage. This warranty offers coverage on components in the electric drivetrain system but varies and depends on how the car is specifically powered. The coverage is for a plug-in hybrid, hybrid, and all-electric models.

Safety Restraint Warranty

New cars come with the Safety Restraint Warranty, which covers all factory parts like the seatbelts and airbag Supplemental Safety Restraint system. The warranty is for five years or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. Mall of Georgia Ford also provides many different MPP plans for additional protection, extended warranties for older models, GAP, service contracts, and lease wear coverage.

Corrosion Warranty

If any corrosion or rust starts to form on body panels, the Corrosion Warranty covers the necessary repairs and replacements for the first 5 years, regardless of miles driven. Ford will also cover paint damage caused by environmental airborne materials for the first 12 months or 12,000 miles of ownership.
