Ford Announces Plans to Return to Formula 1 in 2026
Ford, a massive American automaker, aims to return to Formula 1 racing in 2026. Ford hadn't participated in Formula One since 2004 when it discontinued its Jaguar team. Instead of returning as a factory team, Ford will serve as an engine supplier, giving independent teams access to its high-performance engines.
