2022 Ford Maverick Exterior

Meet the New 2022 Ford Maverick

We are not referring to Ford's iconic 1970's compact car but a new small pickup truck. The new 2022 Ford Maverick is built around the Ford Escape platform and is slated to fit between the Ford Ranger and F-10 pickups.

The Maverick will utilize unibody construction, unlike the body-on-frame construction of the aforementioned pickups, and will offer impressive tow ratings. In addition, the new construction techniques should provide a smoother ride than its bigger siblings. As a result, the new Maverick is intended to be an excellent choice for those desiring the functionality of a pickup truck without the higher prices of the larger pickups.

Empire State Building to Display New 2015 Mustang

Five decades ago, Ford placed a Mustang on top of the Empire State Building, one of the world's most famous attractions, and now for the car's 50th anniversary they've performed the same feat once again. Today, the legendary roadster is four inches wider and seven inches longer, so transporting it to the top of the building was even more difficult. See photos below!

To achieve this act, a technical team carefully disassembled a special display Mustang, "cutting" the car in just the right places to create sections that were taken up elevators on custom-made racks. Once everything…

Mustang Stunts Pay Tribute to Classic Car Action Movies

In the mid to late '60s, directors began placing cameras on and inside of cars to make viewers feel like they were right in the middle of the action. Fast forward five decades later and many of these first-person perspective tricks are still being utilized. For example, in the recently released film "Need for Speed," director Scott Waugh opted for close-up, high-intensity car scenes and real stunts, many of which were performed in the new Ford Mustang.

For the movie, which hit theaters on Mar. 14, Waugh used seven modified 2014 Mustangs and an early prototype of the 2015 Ford…

Our Favorite FBI Agent Drives an Explorer Platinum

I was pretty excited to hear that FOX was bringing “The X-Files” back for a mini-series this year and that excitement was heightened when I learned that the series was showcasing several Ford models. Fords have been featured on the show in the past as well; in fact, Agent Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) drove a Ford Taurus when the show first premiered in 1993 and once called it a “good American car.”

Fast forward over two decades and Ford again decided to sponsor the show, so like me, you may have also noticed that many Fords appeared in various scenes…
