What's New for the 2022 Ford Mustang?

The Mustang returns for the 2022 model year with a few newly available appearance packages. Featuring Oxford White exterior treatments, the Ice White Edition option is destined to turn some heads. Yet another available upgrade is the iconic California Special package, which is available on the V8-powered Mustang GT.

Even the Mustang's base EcoBoost four-cylinder engine cranks out 310 horsepower. An optional High-Performance EcoBoost package tacks on an additional 20 horsepower. While the Mustang GT's standard V8 engine develops an enticing 450 horsepower, special tuning enables the iconic Mach 1 model to develop 470 horsepower. Rated to produce a thrilling 760 horsepower, the Mustang Shelby GT500's supercharged V8 engine is among the most on the market.
