What's New for the 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning?
Celebrated for its utility and electric efficiency, the Ford F-150 Lightning ranks among the top electric pickups. It shares the same underpinnings as the Ford F-150 but swaps the internal combustion engine for an electric powertrain. The latest Lightning adds minor refinements to the standard equipment and now comes with a mobile charging cable that includes an NACS adapter.
What Are the 2025 F-150 Lightning Trims & Features?
The 2025 Lightning lineup consists of five trims.
The Pro model offers vinyl seats and flooring, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a factory trailer hitch. It includes satellite radio, a digital instrument cluster, a 12-inch infotainment screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 120V outlet. The Pro rides on 18-inch wheels, features LED headlights, and supports DC fast charging.
The XLT trim replaces vinyl floors with carpet, adds a power-adjustable driver's seat, a leather steering wheel, storage under the rear seats, and additional safety technology.
The Flash trim gets 20-inch wheels, a power tailgate with integrated step, a larger 15.5-inch touchscreen, a heated steering wheel, push-button start, keyless entry, wireless charging, an eight-speaker B&O audio system, BlueCruise hands-free driving, and more safety features.
Lariat adds a dual-panel sunroof, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and leather upholstery.
The Platinum trim is the highest-end model, with 22-inch wheels, a 14-speaker premium audio setup, massaged front seats, upscale leather trim, a towing package, and a Pro Power Onboard delivering 9.6 kW.
How Much Horsepower Does the 2025 F-150 Lightning Have?
With the standard battery, dual motors deliver 452 hp and 775 lb-ft of torque. Choosing the extended-range battery on higher trims boosts power to 580 hp and extends range.
