What's New for the 2026 Ford Bronco Sport?

The 2026 Ford Bronco Sport features a new Bronze Package that enhances its rugged exterior. This package outfits the SUV with 17-inch Sinister Bronze wheels and matching bronze accents. Several bronze design elements are also found within the interior. Ford offers this available appearance package on the Big Bend and Badlands trims.

What Are the 2026 Bronco Sport Trims & Features?

There are four available trim levels: Big Bend, Heritage, Outer Banks, and Badlands.

Equipped with five G.O.A.T. Modes™ and a standard 4X4 drivetrain, the Big Bend trim is built for the outdoors. Standard features include a six-speaker stereo, an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 13.2-inch SYNC® 4 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™.

The Heritage trim pays homage to the original Bronco with its white roof and vintage plaid cloth seats. It also comes equipped with all-terrain tires for better trail performance. Most of its interior amenities are shared with the Big Bend trim level.

Drivers looking for a premium feel will appreciate the Outer Banks trim. It is outfitted with leather-trimmed seats and dual-zone automatic climate control. Comfort is further improved with the inclusion of standard heated front bucket seats.

As the most off-road-capable model, the Badlands trim features steel bash plates and an advanced 4X4 system with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit. It also benefits from an upgraded suspension. For those seeking even more performance, the Sasquatch Badlands Package is available.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2026 Bronco Sport Have?

The standard engine for most Bronco Sport models is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost® producing 180 horsepower and 200 lb-ft of torque. This three-cylinder engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard 4X4 system.

For higher performance, the Badlands trim utilizes a 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine that generates 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. While it still uses an eight-speed automatic transmission, the Badlands trim specifically adds paddle shifters for enhanced driver engagement.

What Safety Features Does the 2026 Bronco Sport Include?

The Bronco Sport comes standard with Ford Co-Pilot360® Assist+ safety technology. This suite includes driver-assist features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Information System, and Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking.
